Here Are the Top 3 Yoga Poses You Can Master Inside Your Home

Top 3 Yoga Poses to Try out at Home

Everyone can improve their physical and mental health by practicing yoga regardless of age or fitness level. Not only does yoga help you practice flexibility and increase core strength, but it's downright meditative. In our Olympus Apartments, you can try out these yoga poses in the comfort of your home.

Chaturanga Dandasana

Chaturanga is one of the most prevalent Vinyasa yoga postures, but it's also one of the most misused poses in practice. People tend to speed through this posture, which might cause them to get its alignment wrong and cause injury.
Yoga instructors suggest that you practice this posture with your knees bent. Concentrate on pulling the lower belly toward the spine to avoid slouching in the lower back. Make sure you pull your elbows close to your rib cage and stack them above your wrists.

Utthita Trikonasana (Extended Triangle Pose)

Most people disregard standing poses, yet the extended triangle pose is one of the best yoga postures you should try if you want to improve your practice. It is a great approach to alleviate tension in the lower back, strengthen your body's core, and stretch the entire body.

Your hand only needs to rest on a block that you place just below your knee. You can place them either on the inside or outside of your shin. It allows you to balance out through both sides of your rib cage, which ultimately results in an even length throughout your body's trunk.

Crescent Lunge

A session of yoga that does not include a crescent lunge is not a complete practice. The Crescent Lunge is a go-to exercise for opening the hips, encouraging space in the chest and a feeling of power on the feet.

To achieve this pose, you must ensure that the distance between your front and back feet equals or exceeds the breadth of your hips. It will allow you to balance while also increasing the width of your stance.

Apart from indoor yoga, you can try different indoor exercises to keep fit.  For more posts about fitness, health, or lifestyle, check out our blog page and social media accounts. Or contact us to learn about our wonderful apartment communities.
