CHOCOLAT

Mixing drama with Romance, Chocolat is about a single mother who moves to rural France. Not much has changed in the village for one hundred years. That's why when Vianne opens a chocolate shop with Sunday hours, she's met with skepticism from the townspeople. But when they discover that she offers insights into people's lives, they quickly line up to buy her bonbons. Chocolat stars Juliette Binoche and Alfred Molina and was nominated for "Best Picture" and "Best Original Score" in 2001.

JULIE & JULIA

Julie & Julia is a comedy/drama, that contrasts the lives of famed chef Julia Child and Julie Powell. Julie strives to prepare all 524 recipes in Child's first cookbook in one year. Julie's unprecedented mission gains the attention of The New York Times, along with publishers across the country. The movie stars Meryl Streep and Amy Adams and is full of passion, fearlessness, and the message that anything is possible. It was nominated for "Best Musical or Comedy Motion Picture."
