From drone Santa faces lighting up the sky to dancing inflatables, these are the must-see holiday lights in and around the Katy area.
Lighting up the neighborhood since 2006, Christmas Katy is a one-home show that puts on it’s display during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Each year, their outdoor light show is slightly different – but it’s such a display that they even have their own website! Browse through their festive holiday lights throughout the years, then drive over to see the show for yourself.
Lights will be on from 5:30pm until 9:00pm Sunday through Thursday. Fridays and Saturdays, they’re on from 5:30pm until 10:00pm – and will run through December 25th.
The Fairwood Neighborhood
Year after year, this neighborhood goes all-out with their holiday lights! Specifically, there is one house here that stands out for the best Christmas light show – The Johnsons’ Christmas Corner. With over 170,000 lights, snow and bubble machines, musical tunes, this setup requires over a mile and a half of extension cords and 60 hours of set up time. WOW.
