The city's breweries are known for their quality and charm, and they create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere where friends can gather for a night of fun.
Several of the breweries honor the Houston Brew Pass which allows holders to enjoy a flight of four or five-ounce tasters.
The card is valid for three days after activation, and participating breweries include:
Saint Arnold Brewing
Saint Arnold is the oldest craft brewery in the state, and its mission is to offer world-class beer that's both flavorful and fresh. It was established by Brock Wagner and Kevin Bartol as they wanted to bring a craft brewery to their hometown, and some of the beers are year-round while others are seasonal. Saint Arnold has a 4.5-star rating on Yelp, and guests can enjoy their time in the taproom or the beer garden featuring picnic tables, shade trees, and a fountain. The small crew does everything from brewing to serving, and they're glad to make recommendations. Daily choices include Orange Show, Art Car IPA, and Ale Wagger (supports a local animal rescue).
Eureka Heights Brewing Company
The Eureka Heights Brewing Company takes its name from the Eureka Heights fault system that runs under the brewery. The brewmasters work to make interesting, approachable beer, and the taproom comes complete with picnic tables, televisions, and arcade games. Beers include Space Train, Moo Caliente, and Wow Factor.
Buffalo Bayou Brewing Company
Buffalo Bayou is known for putting a new twist on an old craft. The brewers combine cutting-edge technology with wildly sourced flavors, and they strive to honor the state's pioneering history. Fun brewery tours are offered on Fridays and Saturdays, and they're a great way to learn more about Buffalo Bayou's history. Beers include Crush City IPA, Great White Buffalo, and Smoke on the Bayou.
