Houston’s newest hangout, Railway Heights, has a lot to offer. Grocers peddling fresh, local produce. Boutique shops offering a “mix of flavours and fashions.” A 13,000-square-foot beer garden with more than 80 brews on tap. And, of course, amazing restaurants. So many great restaurants. Here are four of our favorite eateries at this new West Houston hot spot.
This Latin-Asian concept kitchen serves up a uniquely delicious combo of flavors. Chef David Guerrero’s menu draws inspiration from flavors of Chinese, Japanese, Ecuadorian, and Peruvian cuisines. Can’t-miss dishes include pork belly baos, salmon sashimi, and miso cod. Oh, and don’t forget to try their otherworldly ramen!
Feast on a plate of mouthwatering samosas at Samosa Haus. This spot specializes in the South Asian delicacy, which they stuff with a variety of flavorful fillings – beef, chicken, jalapeno cheese, and even chocolate. Be sure to tee up an order of masala tots on the side. You won’t regret it.
Heads & Tails Seafood
From the unforgettable shrimp tacos to the catfish po-boys and soul-warming gumbo, Heads & Tails hits all the right notes when it comes to Cajun cuisine.
