Havertys Furniture
Nestled on Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway, Havertys is where the owners take pride in offering quality furniture that you will be proud to show off. The company was established in 1885, and the sales staff originally made their rounds by horse and buggy. Today, there are one hundred stores in sixteen states, and they all offer reasonable prices and friendly service. The selection includes cocktail tables, sofas, and dining sets.
Weir's Furniture
It was in 1948 when J. Ray Weir opened the first Weir's Furniture on Dallas' Knox Street. He did most of the work himself including hand-polishing the furniture and making deliveries in his 1937 Chevy truck. The company has grown to include five locations around the city, and the selection features armoires, bookcases, and television consoles.
Bassett Furniture
For more than one hundred years, Bassett has been one of the most recognizable brands in the United States. It began in the late 1800s in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and at the time, dressers sold for $4.75 while beds were just $1.50. Today, the company remains dedicated to its early principles of providing quality, stylish furniture that is affordable. The showroom includes accent chairs, ottomans, patterned rugs, and so much more.
Anteks Home Furnishings
Anteks offers a selection of rustic furniture that is second to none. It has welcomed shoppers for nearly three decades and is the largest retailer of Pendleton blankets in Dallas. The friendly staff enjoys helping customers find the right pieces for their home, and other items include sofas, tables, and light fixtures.
