Cheer On Your Favorite Team at These Downtown Dallas Sports Bars

With the NBA playoffs underway and baseball season in full swing, there's no place better to cheer on your favorite Dallas sports teams than at one of the local sports bars with other fans. If you're looking for a barstool in front of a big-screen TV, there are several spots near our Dallas apartments where you can score some grub and celebrate your team's win.

The Owner's Box

You'll be able to catch all the action on The Owner's Box's 16-foot screen or one of their 72 HDTVs. Located inside the Omni Dallas Hotel, this upscale spot serves up craft beer and sports-themed cocktails. They also have elevated pub fare. If you're looking for a spot to watch the game with some friends, ask about their private game-watching booths. These feature a sound-isolating technology so you won't miss a single play. They even have TVs in the bathroom so you won't have to miss a second of the game.

Katy Trail Ice House

Sip on a cold beer and enjoy a sunny afternoon at Katy Trail Ice House in Victory Park. This beer garden boasts a 50-foot bar with more than 50 beers on tap. It was named the home of the Best Margarita in Dallas. They can get pretty busy so get there early if you want to be able to snag a table in front of one of their large outdoor flat screens or you'd prefer to sit inside and enjoy some air-conditioning while you tune in.

Hero by HG Sply Co

Conveniently located near the American Airlines Center, Hero by HG Sply Co is not your average sports bar. You'll find plenty of screens (including a 24-foot big screen in front of its indoor-outdoor bar) at Hero. Also, their menu carries way more than just pub food and beer buckets. Hero's menu was crafted by a former Top Chef contestant and features a variety of healthy options and craft cocktails. You might even spot one of your Dallas athletes – a secret passageway connects the restaurant and bar to the locker rooms inside the arena.

If you'd prefer to stay in to catch the game from the comfort of your couch rather than these Dallas sports bars, you can still score all your favorite game-day grub. Just order some takeout from your favorite local restaurant. Ready to find your next home? Contact us to learn more about our Dallas apartments.
