If you make a last-minute decision to attend a Halloween party or dress up at work this year, but a DIY costume just isn’t in your wheelhouse, don’t panic. If you don’t mind spending a little more and want something original that you may wear or use again in the future, head to Masquerade Mask Design in Richardson or the Dallas Vintage Shop in Plano. From a plague doctor mask (very on brand for 2020) to a glamorous feathered and sequined number, these are wearable pieces of art. A Mad World
Costume World on Inwood Road in Dallas is less than 10 miles away, and gives you the option to buy or rent a wide range of costumes and theatrical wardrobing.They have thousands of costumes in their 42,000-square-foot space, so there’s bound to be something that catches your eye. Maleficent? Check. Pennywise the Clown? Check. Characters from “Star Wars” or “Hamilton?” Check and check!
