Head to the Dallas Arboretum on White Rock Lake for one of the area’s favorite annual traditions: Holiday at the Arboretum. Hailed as Texas’ Best Christmas Event by Southern Living Magazine, the event features the 12 Days of Christmas. There are plenty of beautiful outdoor displays for you to enjoy, during the day and evening, through December 31, 2020.
The 12 Days of Christmas
Wander through the beautiful gardens and see the 25-foot-tall Victorian-style gazebos representing each of the 12 Days of Christmas. All the iconic images of this classic holiday song have been elaborately recreated, from drummers drumming to a partridge in a pear tree. After dark, the garden and the exhibits glow with more than 1 million festive lights.
More to Enjoy
From November 27, you can also explore the expanded Christmas Village, filled with charming shops and facades inspired by a quaint European hamlet. The new 23-foot-tall hand-carved and decorated Christmas pyramid created by German artisans is not to be missed. There’s also the Edelweiss Haus with food and drink, a chocolate shop, and a toy shop.
Schedule & Tickets
Daytime admission through December 31 is available from 9 AM to 5 PM. Tickets are free for Arboretum members and $12 to $17 for non-members. Night admission dates, hours, and prices vary. See the event website for details. Both members and non-members are required to reserve tickets in advance for daytime and nighttime admission.
