Woman organizing her pantry space at Olympus on Broadway

If you’ve ever turned your kitchen upside down trying to find a missing lid or jar of spice that you just know is in there somewhere, read on. These three organizers are perfect for taming the mayhem and maximizing the storage space in your kitchen. You’ll wonder how you ever lived without them.

Lazy Susan

Everything old is new again and the Lazy Susan is no exception. This turntable-like device was a staple on dinner tables in the 1970s, but has made a comeback as a super-useful way to organize and access items that get lost in the deep, dark recesses of your corner cabinets, pantry, or under the sink. You can now find Lazy Susans in a variety of sizes and configurations, to make everything from spices to heavy pots and pans easier to reach. There are even two-tier models to maximize your storage space. Sounds like Susan’s not so lazy after all!

Customizable Under-Sink Shelving

There always seems to be a lot of wasted space in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. Thanks to the pipes and garbage disposal dangling awkwardly in the way, it’s often hard to get any shelving in there, leaving a jumble of items haphazardly stacked at the bottom. But can be a thing of the past with customizable shelving that you can adjust to fit around the plumbing and other obstructions. Bonus: These are also great for bathroom cabinets that have bulky plumbing in the way.

Stackable Can Organizer

If cans of everything from beans to soup are taking over your pantry, a stackable can organizer will work wonders. Instead of a sea of cans spreading outward across the shelves or perched precariously on top of one another like the infamous Leaning Tower of Pisa, a rack like this lets you neatly and safely stack cans of various sizes upward in three tiers. The slanted design means you can still see what’s in the back, and the stackable feature lets you double up and go to six tiers if you wish. Each rack can hold up to 36 standard cans, and adjustable plastic dividers let you align different sizes if needed. You could also use one of these racks or a similar plastic dispenser to wrangle cans of soda or flavored water in your fridge.
