THE BEST CHICKEN WINGS IN SAVANNAH

|

Who doesn't love a good chicken wing? Whether you like them fried up golden brown or smothered in buffalo sauce, it's hard to deny the appeal of 1this crispy, tender delicacy. But knowing where to get the best wings is a challenge. Superior chicken wings have to be cooked so they're not rubbery and tossed in seasoning that's not too hot or too mild.

In Savannah, three chicken wing joints strike that necessary balance. Bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection, you'll be more than impressed with the offerings of this historic town.

Treylor Park

You'll never see chicken wings the same way once you've visited Treylor Park. This combination restaurant and bar spotlights surprising dishes (like the intriguing grilled apple pie sandwich and their peculiar avocado fries.) However, its stand-out menu item is its PB&J chicken wings. You heard that right. These wings are fried, then slathered in pecan/peanut butter and a peach jelly sauce. Apparently, heaven is on earth...and Treylor Park has the wings to prove it!

Wild Wing Cafe

Writing this place off as ordinary pub fare would be a mistake. Founded in 1990 in Hilton Head, South Carolina, the award-winning Wild Wing Cafe now operates over 40 successful restaurants throughout the United States and strives to always serve its customers "Hot Wings, Cold Beer, Good Times." A range of spicy, sweet, and savory sauces add flavor to their homemade wings and keep visitors coming back again and again for more wild fun.

520 Wings

Here's the 411 on 520. Since its first location opened in 2011, 520 Wings has distinguished itself as a chicken wing behemoth. In 2018 alone, it was voted Best Wings in Savannah by Connect Savannah. Their menu has 15 flavors of chicken wings including honey BBQ, garlic parmesan, and hot teriyaki so choose wisely. If wings aren't your thing, they also have salads and burgers to round out the selections.
