As the football season rumbles ever forward, let’s face it, there are a metric ton of unknowns. Will Kyler Murray continue to grow into the Quarterback we all know he can be? Will our beloved Cardinals return to the prominence of old? Heck, will there even be an NFL season? No matter the outcome, football fans will be watching. And with that in mind, here are five great local spots to watch all the action unfold.
The Burg Sports Grill
The Burg has everything you’d want for the new era of football watching Sunday fundays: classically-good pub food, a diverse craft beer selection, TV walls, and plenty of space. You’ll want to get in an hour before kickoff so you can stake your claim on the perfect spot to watch multiple screens.
Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers
With three locations in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers isn’t vague on what they offer in the realm of food and libations. But for some reason, when it comes to sports watching, they omitted that amenity from their name. Now, admittedly, “Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers and Some of the Best Sports Watching in Arizona” is a tad bit wordy. But nevertheless, Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers does offer up a good amount of TVs that are well-placed and spaced out so that most customers can keep an eye on more than one game at time.
Gallagher’s Sports Grill
There are sports bars that love sports, then there are sports bars that love sports but REALLY love football. Gallagher’s Sports Grill is easily named the latter. With a football-themed atmosphere throughout, Sundays at Gallager’s come complete with both food and drink specials to keep you well fed and well hydrated as you watch all the big games.
Majerle's Sports Grill
Majerle’s Sports Grill makes sure that even if your team loses, you’ll still go home. With a solid menu with all your sports bar favorites and even a few oddities, Majerle’s packs everything you can on a burger – and they don’t skimp on the fries either. As with our other locations, there’s a good amount of TVs and space so you can enjoy your favorite teams as well as those hefty portions.
