According to feedingamerica.org, even before COVID, more than 35 million families were suffering from hunger. Which makes local food banks like St. Mary’s and Mathews Crossing have over 25 years of combined experience serving the less fortunate in the region. Both locations are accepting volunteers for various duties including packing emergency food boxes, cold meal prep for Kids Cafe, and off-site mobile deliveries.
