April in Arizona is the best. The weather is warm in the day, cool at night, and the desert is in bloom. As we’ve all adapted to the new normal of life during COVID, socially safe activities are, like spring, in full swing. So, for those of you who want a little fun with your sun, here are some awesome events happening in and around Chandler in April.
Arcadia Car Show
A bit unconventional, but a whole lotta fun, the third annual Arcadia Car Show is a local car show that doesn’t just limit itself to classic or custom vehicles. Oh no sir. Along with cars, trucks and motorcycles, past entries have included military vehicles, scooters, trailers, lawn mowers, tractors, and even ice cream trucks!
8 AM - 12 PM
Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center
While it’s true that we’ve got our very own resort-style swimming pool, that’s no reason to not go splashing around at Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center. Everything from water slides to a 1-meter diving board are available to elevate your aquatic experience.
Open Daily in April. Closed on Mondays.
Tuesday-Friday, 10 AM - 1 PM, 4 - 7 PM
Saturday-Sunday, 12 - 5 PM
Beer Night with Pizza
Not to be outdone, Elevation Chandler has some great low-key community activities happening this month as well. Come enjoy beer, pizza, and some socially responsible hangout time with the neighbors on the back patio.
