Three Gorgeous Parks in Casper, Wyoming

Waterfalls and expansive trails are quite a sight in Casper, WY. Lovers of nature appreciate the time spent in these idyllic landscapes. When you need a break from the hustle and bustle, head outdoors to take in the beauty of nature. Here are several great parks to frequent near our Casper apartments.

Garden Creek Falls in Rotary Park

Rotary Park is located in the heart of Casper. This park is absolutely beautiful and serene. It has iron bridges and a gazebo. Ponderosa pines and aspens cover the landscape. The paved trail from the parking lot is only a few miles from the base of Casper Mountain. Here, you will find Garden Creek Falls, which cascades down the slopes. The Bridle Trail is 4.5 miles of high altitude. Along the terrain, you will see fantastic overlooks and beautiful deer, as well as Split Rock.

Platte River Trails

Platte River Trails encompasses the community trail system of Casper. The River Trail goes for 11 miles along the Platte River. Visitors can bicycle, hike, take in beautiful scenic views, and run. Other exciting activities include rollerblading and fishing. This is a peaceful spot to take in all the sights Casper has to offer.

Morad Park

Morad Park is a pleasant nature and wildlife area. The paved trails are perfect for jogging or walking. There are also dirt paths that branch off the main trail, giving you many options to explore. The Platte River runs along the park with many concrete benches where you can relax and enjoy the view. This is also a great place to walk your dog or enjoy a nice picnic.
