Enjoy The Great Outdoors at These Parks and Farms Near Midland

It's time to get out and enjoy the sun! (With a healthy coating of sunscreen, of course. And possibly a sun hat, too.) Check out these local parks and farms where you can enjoy nature near our Midland, Texas apartments:

Fiddlesticks Farms

This spot is perfect for a scenic outing, with plenty of open spaces in which to roam. During the warmer months, you can rent out the whole facility for a graduation party, wedding, birthday, or other event. Later on, in the fall, you can visit Fiddlesticks when it's open to the public, and you can lose yourself amongst the tall, green stalks at the 7-acre cornfield maze. (Don't worry, there are special "corn cops" available for assistance if you really get lost.) You can also interact with the various farm animals, such as lambs, ducks, cows, and goats. 

Sibley Nature Center

Savor a satisfying combination of peace and adventure at this 49-acre site in Hogan Park. The Sibley Nature Center offers an exciting opportunity to view wildlife in their native habitats. In addition to wildlife viewing gardens, Sibley also offers some beautiful nature trails for walking. If you enjoy photography, you might appreciate the chance to join the camera club to create the perfect capture. 

Hill Park

This restful spot is well-enjoyed by local residents. It features a beautiful green section of shade trees, in addition to a large open field. When it rains, the middle section transforms into a large pond, perfect for walking around on the paved path. This is a perfect place to bring dogs for a walk, or children to enjoy an outing for some fun playground time.
