Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta
Wine lovers can come and sample the best of local culinary artistry and wines at the 31st Annual Santa Fe Wine and Chile Fiesta. The event brings together more than 75 top restaurants in the city, showcasing their traditional and modern cooking techniques. Local wineries' sommeliers will present different wine seminars. The event will be held at the Santa Fe Opera grounds from September 21-25, 2022.
Santa Fe Independent Film Festival
Santa Fe is renowned for its rich and independent film industry that provides opportunities for artists and audiences all year round. The event brings together global film icons and features premiere film screenings, award presentations, filmmaker Q&As and industry discussions.
The Santa Fe Independent Film Festival is also referred to as "New Mexico's foremost attraction for cinephiles." The film festival was named among the top 25 most incredible general film festivals in the world in 2013 and the top 50 free entry festivals in 2019.
The festival will be held on October 19 – 23, 2022, from 10 am – 11 pm. The screenings take place at The Lensic Performing Arts Center, The Screen, the Center for Contemporary Arts, George R.R. Martin' Jean Cocteau Cinema, and the Violet Crown Cinema.
Santa Fe Farolito Walk
The Farolito Walk is among the oldest and most celebrated holiday traditions in Santa Fe. The events involve lining adobe walls and streets with thousands of flickering candles to create a spectacular glow. The Santa Fe Farolito Walk will take place on December 24th, 2022, from sundown and will attract both locals and visitors in huge numbers. It's recommended to leave your pets at home due to heavy traffic.
