Enjoy Brunch at These Popular Santa Fe Restaurants

Are you looking for great places to eat near your Olympus Rodeo apartment in Santa Fe? As expected from one of the most historic cities in the country, Santa Fe has a rich cultural history, too, which is reflected in our diverse dining scene. Check out these three unique local breakfast favorites.

The Palacio Cafe

At the Palacio Cafe, you can choose a traditional American breakfast or be adventurous and go for the bold flavors of the New Mexican breakfast menu. Huevos rancheros, handheld or smothered breakfast burritos, and a very special breakfast taco are just some of the offerings here. Of course, they all come with your choice of red or green chile!

Cafe Pasqual’s

For a more upscale breakfast featuring mainly organic and sustainable ingredients, visit Cafe Pasqual's. You can enjoy everything from cottage cheese blintzes or corn pancakes to smoked trout hash and huevos barbacoa con chile de arbol salsa from their diverse menu.

Many of their offerings include your choice of red or green chile sauce, Christmas sauce (both red and green), or tomatillo salsa. Several also allow you to choose between sliced organic heirloom tomatoes with pico de gallo, oven-roasted sweet potatoes, or black beans on the side.

Dolina Bakery and Cafe

It's a bakery, a modern American brunch spot, and the best place in town to get those nostalgic Eastern European flavors you're craving. We're talking about borscht, chicken paprikash, Hungarian goulash, and Slovakian kapustnica and langos at Dolina Bakery and Cafe.

Their breakfast/brunch menu ranges from simple ricotta pancakes with berries to a pesto omelet and Santa Fe's ubiquitous breakfast burrito. For brunch, try the quiche of the day, a cornmeal waffle with organic fried chicken and green apple/fennel slaw, or salmon tartine made with house-cured salmon and served on a wild leavened quinoa sourdough with a side salad.

Before you leave, don't forget to pick up some of their delicious bakery items for a treat later. Cookies or a pastry would go great with a cone or bowl from one of Santa Fe's best frozen treat places.

It's always fun to explore new local eateries. To learn more about businesses surrounding Olympus Rodeo’s Santa Fe apartments, contact us to schedule a tour!
