Discover the Attractions at the Palm Beach Zoo

Florida's top-rated zoological experience is a quick drive from our Lantana apartments. We are talking about the Palm Beach Zoo, and it has grown from a small red barn to a major recreational attraction. Here is some of what you can enjoy during your visit:

Otter Experience

Enjoy the Otter Experience to get up close to some of the zoo's most charming animals. You will also participate in multifaceted training sessions as you learn more about North American river otters. Be sure and reserve your experience in advance. Tickets often sell out quickly, and you can book the 11:30 a.m. or 3:15 p.m. time slot.

Lorikeet Feeding

Native to Australia and the islands of the South Pacific, lorikeets are among the most colorful members of the parrot family. These vocal birds have red bills, blue heads, green wings, and black feet. In the wild, they travel together in pairs and rarely come to the ground. What's more, at the zoo, you can purchase a cup of nectar and watch as they land on your hands and arms!

Latitude 26

Nestled along the shore of beautiful Baker Lake, Latitude 26 is where you can take a break from exploring and enjoy a delicious lunch. The eatery also boasts a lively marketplace setting and serves all your favorites. Offerings include Asian chicken wraps, gobbler turkey burgers, as well as cheesy bacon dogs. You can also round out your meal with a pint of ice-cold beer. The restaurant is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Palm Beach Zoo is just one of the attractions near Oceanside Lantana. You can also explore the Cox Science Center and much more.
