Explore the Cox Science Center and Aquarium Near Lantana 

Head to the Cox Science Center and Aquarium for a fun and educational experience. It has been a local fixture since 1961 and features much to see and do. Explore exhibits or play a round of mini golf. The following are some of what the museum has to offer near our Lantana apartments:

Marvin Dekelboum Planetarium 

Offering extraterrestrial fun, the Marvin Dekelboum Planetarium is the only attraction of its type in Palm Beach County. It features daily dome presentations that keep audiences entertained from beginning to end. Don't miss Astronaut when you are visiting. Narrated by Ewan McGregor, it explores the "amazing worlds of inner and outer space." You'll also experience a rocket launch, float around the International Space Station, and more.

Conservation Course 

Test your putting skills on the Conservation Course. It was selected as one of the Travel Channel's, "best mini golf courses across the country." Also, the holes were named after the plants and animals native to South Florida. They challenge all golfing abilities and take you through butterfly gardens, babbling brooks, and lush gardens. Check this out when you are looking for a fun experience.

Aquariums of the Atlantic 

Finally, step inside the center's new installation Aquariums of the Atlantic. You will travel through reefs, open oceans, and the beauty of the Everglades. You will discover seahorses, sharks, stingrays, and other fascinating marine life. Tanks include all kinds of beautiful sea life. 

The Cox Science Center and Aquarium is open daily, except on Thanksgiving and Christmas. After exploring, enjoy a few slices of your favorite pizza at a locally-owned pizzeria.
