Patrice Evans

Patrice Evans began playing the violin in a public school program. Today, she takes to the stage with the Jacksonville Symphony. Patrice enjoys communicating without words and can't imagine a world without music. When Patrice isn't on stage, you'll likely find her eating spicy Cajun cuisine or cheering on the Jaguars.

Michael Harper

Before a performance, Michael Harper typically takes a short nap. He always arrives at the hall early, with plenty of time to spare. Michael received his first trumpet at the age of eight and later graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music with a Master of Music. In his free time, Michael enjoys sailing and spending time on the water.

Eric Olson

Eric Olson has played the oboe since childhood. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and learned proper playing habits from an English horn player with the Philadelphia Orchestra. As an oboe player, Eric creates his own reeds. This is something that most oboe players do, and he spends at least ten hours a week making them.

Kate Caliendo

A French horn player, Kate Caliendo never tires of playing Tchaikovsky. She's always traveling as a professional musician and enjoys learning new things about the world. In addition to playing with the Jacksonville Symphony, Kate has also performed with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra.
