Jacksonville Campgrounds Worth Staying At

Enjoy Nature at These Jacksonville Campgrounds

Are you looking to enjoy a quick vacation not too far from home? Local campgrounds do not disappoint. Here are a few favorites near our Jacksonville apartments.

Pecan Park RV Resort

Back-in sites, pull-through sites, and cottage rentals are available at Pecan Park RV Resort. This campground features a dog park, boat ramp, fishing lake, swimming pool, and so much more. What’s more, there are various planned activities on the daily schedule. In addition to a horseshoe pit and fitness center, there are plenty of options to keep yourself busy any day you're there.

Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park Campground

The Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park Campground offers reasonable rates. They have sites for tents and RVs, as well as cabins you can book. You have fast access to one of the best beaches and surfing spots in the area, as well as a splash park, hiking and biking trails, and kayak and bike rentals. This park provides an awesome camping experience for anyone hoping to enjoy plenty of beach time.

Little Talbot Island State Park Campground

Little Talbot Island State Park Campground is a gem in the area. It's important to be aware, however, that it operates at a limited capacity at times. Though not too many people can stay at once, that bodes well for many patrons hoping to have a quiet time camping. Miles of beaches and biking trails make up the area. You can explore sand dunes or rent a kayak and get in the water. Birdwatching and fishing are also common there.

You can enjoy a camping experience even more when you bring your board along. Before heading to campgrounds, take a lesson at a surf school near our apartments in Jacksonville. That way, you're ready to get out on the waves. With so many popular places near Cape House, it's no wonder people are clamoring to join the community. Contact us if you're interested, too.
