If you’re looking for something fun to do this spring, you’re in just the right place. Gilbert has all kinds of events planned to celebrate the season. Pull out your calendar because you’re bound to find something you’ll love on this list.
2021 I Ran 4 Ira - 5k Fun Walk/Run & Pancake Breakfast
Spend a Saturday getting in a great workout while also helping out a family in need. This 5K Walk/Run on April 10 at the Seville Country Club is a fundraiser that benefits Iralyn Hamilton, who has cerebral palsy. The benefits from this event will allow her to be able to attend a therapy camp at the VIP NeuroRehabilitation Center in California, along with other youth from the community. If you want to “carb up” for the event, or aren’t a runner at all but still want to join in, attend the pancake breakfast and enjoy a delicious meal for a good cause.
SufferFest
If fitness is important to you, you’ll want to check out this event – though make no mistake, it’s not for the faint of heart. This hardcore fitness competition takes place on the weekend of April 17 with two days of grueling feats of strength and endurance. During the event, you’ll get to enjoy great food, access to massage therapy, a free T-shirt, and the opportunity to win cash and prizes. Be sure to purchase your ticket ahead of time and get ready to suffer!
Good Vibes Jamboree
On April 17, head over to East Baseline Road for the most exciting event in Gilbert this spring. Not only will you get to enjoy local musicians playing original music, but there will be fun activities – everything from cornhole to horseshoes, beer, amazing food trucks, and dancing, of course. Buy tickets before you head out to get 25% off the admission price, and prepare to kick back and have some much-needed fun!
Sonoqui Wash Green Up Clean Up
Earth Month is a great way to celebrate our local outdoor spaces and to give back by keeping them clean and green. This April 10, join the city in its third annual event to clean up Sonoqui Wash. The day starts at 8 AM at Fire Station 9, where organizers will prepare all participants.
