Just because the summer is over doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. Here are some fun local events you should check out in September.
Driving Change TopGolf Tournament
An afternoon of golfing at Topgolf, and it’s for a good cause? Sign us up! The Driving Change TopGolf Tournament is a charity event to celebrate 100 years of the Mesa United Way, helping to support local military veterans, low-income youth, and foster families. You can do your part by registering to golf solo or in a group of six. So come out Thursday, Sept. 23, from 11 AM to 3 PM for good times, good laughs, and good deeds.
Gilbert Farmers Market
Nothing wrong with a classic. The Gilbert Farmers Market is an open-air marketplace in downtown Gilbert that’s been serving the community for over a decade. Every Saturday, you can come down and shop for over 60 local vendors who are selling everything from locally grown produce to locally made cheeses, bread, sweets, and seasonings. Summer hours (May through September) are 7 to 11 AM, so get there early!
Right Here at Home
Not to be outdone, we have a few September events of our own here at Vistara at SanTan Village. Over the month, we’ll be scheduling several fun-filled events. On pet appreciation day, you can head down to the front desk and pick up some tasty treats for your furry companion. Back by popular demand, Vistara will once again invite a local food truck, so you don’t have to think about what to make for dinner. Also, we’ll be hosting a resident appreciation day, where not only will we be bringing back a local food truck, but we’ll be handing out free beers! Check with the front desk for dates and times, and come hang out!
