Are you ready for America’s favorite summer pastime? Chase Field is open for business, and it’s time to cheer on the Arizona Diamondbacks! Here’s what you need to know before you head out for a game.
Prepare Your Ticket
Chase Field is going contact-free this season, which means tickets are all digital. Be sure to download the MLB app onto your phone, and bring it fully charged to the field, with your ticket ready to display. This will make for fast, easy, and no-contact entry.
New Concessions
You’ll find fun new concessions options this year at Chase Field. There’s Gadzooks (tacos, enchiladas, and margaritas) at Sections 116 and 314, as well as San Diego-based The Still by Cutwater’s canned cocktails, and Fry’s Grab N’ Go at Section 139. You can also order and pay for concessions through the Ballpark app, and the app will tell you when your order is ready for contact-free pickup. If you don’t want to order items from your phone, be sure to bring a credit or debit card, as many ballpark venues will no longer take cash.
The Clear Bag Policy
There are new safety policies at Chase Field, one of which is the Clear Bag Policy. This ensures the safety of all visitors, and will help get everyone through the door a lot faster. Each visitor is allowed one clear plastic bag – either a gallon-sized zip-close bag or a plastic or vinyl bag no larger than 12x6x12 inches. Clutch purses are also allowed, so long as they are not larger than 4.5x6.5 inches.
Face Mask Policy
In another effort to protect the safety of guests, Chase Field is asking any visitor who is not fully vaccinated to wear a mask, as per CDC guidelines. It is recommended that even those who are vaccinated wear a mask, in order to ensure everyone’s safety.
Closures & Relocations
There are several areas in Chase Field that are currently closed, including the Sonoran Room and the Sedona Club. The Kids Club has moved and can now be found in Section 125’s main concourse, as well as the location in the Sandlot.
