If you're looking to enjoy a happy hour that's on the wild side, then don't miss at the Phoenix Zoo.
This exotic 21 and over event takes place on April 4th, and it allows visitors to sip wine and craft beer as they explore the zoo's trails.
Established with the belief that the craft beer experience happens when art and science meet, Saint Arnold is known across the country for its world-class creations. The founders come from diverse backgrounds including professional surfers and snowboarders, and they often take risks to produce something special. Saint Arnold calls San Diego home, and its production facility includes a five vessel, forty barrel warehouse. Beers include Hazy IPA, Blonde Ale, and Mosaic IPA.
The trails open during the event include:
The Africa Trail features the animals of the savanna, and the Masai giraffes are a visitor favorite. These animals have golf ball-sized eyes and hair covered horns and are distinguished from other giraffes by the star-like reddish patterns on their body. Masai giraffes only need five to thirty minutes of sleep a day, and they communicate by hissing, whistling, and roaring.
Surrounded by the saguaro cactus, the Arizona Trail features the state's flora and fauna. See animals such as thick-billed parrots, Mexican wolves, and javelinas.
The Inner Tropics Trail is where visitors see the charming Bornean orangutans. These orangutans are the largest tree-dwelling mammals, and they're only found in Borneo and Sumatra. They have a shaggy appearance and can live up to sixty years in captivity.
