If you are looking to have some fall fun, head to a local pumpkin patch! Here are a few favorites:
Tolmachoff Farms (September 28 - November 4)
Tolmachoff is a unique four-generation family farm that grows a variety of produce. In the early 1900s, the farm only grew cotton, wheat, and corn, and in the 1970s, it expanded to include squash, peppers, and so much more. During this time of year, visitors can enjoy a giant pumpkin patch and a renowned haunted corn maze. The maze features new hair-raising thrills each season, and the Tolmachoff family boasts it's where your most horrifying dreams become a reality.
MacDonald's Ranch (September 29 - October 31)
MacDonald's Ranch is the premier horseback riding stable in the Valley of the Sun. Every fall, the ranch offers a pumpkin patch featuring pumpkins grown in Arizona. The sizes and colors vary, and prices range from four dollars to twelve dollars. The fun also includes hayrides, exploring an old western town, and playing games from a time gone by. Those who are hungry can enjoy a delicious meal from the Blazin' BBQ Food Truck. Choices include pulled pork sandwiches, brisket sandwiches, and bacon cheeseburgers.
Mother Nature's Farm (October 1-31)
Established in 1991, Mother Nature's is a family owned and operated pumpkin farm that welcomes thousands of visitors every year. It has been rated "Arizona's Best" by the Phoenix New Times, and the pumpkins range in size from one ounce to five hundred pounds. Visitors can also take a hayride and enjoy popcorn and cotton candy.
