Vive is near a destination that features more than 6,500 musical instruments from across the globe.
We're talking about the Musical Instrument Museum, and it's the largest museum of its type in the world.
In 2017, it was named the "Best Museum in Arizona," and Lonely Planet once called it "One of 50 Museums to Blow Your Mind."
Artist Gallery - This gallery celebrates the most influential artists in music. Highlights include vintage footage, clothing worn by country artists, and instruments played by Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley.
Geographic Gallery - As visitors explore the Geographic Gallery, they will travel the world through music. It highlights five major regions and displays ukuleles, charter horns, the largest playable sousaphone, and much more.
STEM Gallery - The museum states that the STEM Gallery focuses on the important connections between music and science, engineering, mathematics, and technology. It explores sound creation and technological innovation as well as plays original videos.
The museum hosts concerts throughout the year and those upcoming include:
Front Country (February 8) - Front Country calls San Francisco home, and they're a progressive bluegrass band that has become a national touring act. They have released several albums with the latest being Other Love Songs. Tunes include "Undone," Keep Travelin'," and "Storms are on the Ocean."
Max Weinberg (February 9) - Max Weinberg is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame drummer who is best known for being a member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. He is currently performing at more intimate venues where he entertains with some of music's biggest hits.
American Brass Quintet (February 12) - The American Brass Quintet is considered one of the best chamber music ensembles in music history. They gave their first performance in 1960, and have captivated audiences around the world.
