This museum is a Dallas gem that shouldn't be missed. Viewing the permanent collection and covered parking are always free of charge. Although the museum is smaller than some, it houses a collection of impressive artists like Matisse, Picasso, Monet, Bernini and Rembrandt among many others. The collection itself is gorgeous. It's beautifully arranged in a fabulous building and the property features a sculpture garden designed by prominent Japanese-American artist, Isamu Noguchi.
If you love the outdoors, Klyde Warren Park is a luxurious 5.2-acre outdoor space that has something for everyone. Its unique location situated over the Woodall Rodgers Freeway makes it conveniently accessed by drivers, walkers and those using public transit. It offers free events, free exercise classes, events, lectures and entertainment for all. You can even use the free Wi-Fi in the park to get some work done while you enjoy the sunshine. The park was designed by award-winning landscape architect Jim Burnette and has been providing a delightful outdoor space for residents since 2002.
To immerse yourself in even more art, you must spend at least a day at the Dallas Museum of Art. Although the place is so immense, you might want to spend a whole weekend there! The permanent collection is always free to view and is so large you can see a bit of everything.
