Golf is one of the oldest sports, and it's enjoyed by millions of people across the globe.
The next time you would like to tee off, head to a local golf course where you can perfect your swing.
Here are a few of our favorites:
Bear Creek Golf Club
Bear Creek boasts it offers a daily golf experience like no other. Designed by famed architect Ted Robinson, it has earned many honors including being named one of the "10 Great Places to Play Golf" by the Wall Street Journal. The club comes complete with two eighteen hole courses featuring gently rolling hills, well-maintained fairways, and strategically placed sand traps.
After their round, golfers can enjoy a delicious meal at The Restaurant at Bear Creek. It offers attentive service, and meals include char-broiled burgers, sandwiches, and burritos.
The Golf Club of Dallas
Known as a haven for the lovers of classic golf, The Golf Club of Dallas is now open to the public. It hosted the Byron Nelson Classic in the 1950s, and is where legends such as Sam Sneed and Bert Yancey won trophies. The course is the last one designed by Perry Maxwell, and it offers challenges in the form of sand traps and water hazards.
Trinity Forest Golf Club
Resembling many of the great old golf courses in the northeast, Trinity Forest was established to attract prestigious golf championships back to Dallas. Situated on a rolling meadow, the course features native grasses and dramatic bunkering, and it has restored 75 acres of blackland prairie.
In the clubhouse, golfers enjoy a comfortable atmosphere, and it's where they find a restaurant and locker rooms.
Golf is one of the many outdoor activities you can try if you call our apartments near downtown Dallas home. Please contact us to arrange a tour where you can see firsthand all we have to offer.
