Are you searching for a festival featuring delicious food, live entertainment, and more than five hundred beers from across the globe?
Then look no further than BrewFest.
The fun takes place on September 8th at the Dallas Farmers Market just minutes from our Dallas apartments.
Here are some breweries to look forward to:
Boulevard Brewing Co.
In 1984, John McDonald visited a bar in Europe where he sampled Belgian-style beer. He was amazed by the variety and the aromas, and four years after his trip, John opened the Boulevard Brewing Co. in Kansas City. His mission is simple: to create fresh, flavorful beers using the finest ingredients and old and new brewing techniques. The brewery produces more than 100,000 barrels every year, and beers include Tropical Pale Ale, Single-Wide IPA, and KC Pils.
Buffalo Bayou Brewery
The Buffalo Bayou Brewery calls Houston home and is known for putting a new twist on an old craft. The brewmasters strive to honor the pioneering history of Texas and boast that from grain to glass, the Buff Brews tell a story. Their creations are made in small batches using non-traditional recipes, and the selection includes Crush City IPA, Great White Buffalo, and Gingerbread Stout.
Lakewood Brewing Company
Wim Bens was born in Belgium, and his family immigrated to North Texas when he was seven. He later graduated from SMU and began homebrewing with friends. That's how his passion for beer began, and he opened the Lakewood Brewing Company in 2012. It's known for offering new and exciting styles while staying true to the art of craft brewing. Year-round beers include The Temptress, All Call, and Lakewood Lager.
