Mountain biking is a fun way to explore the area's trails while getting in a good workout.
Trails near our Dallas apartments include:
Arbor Hills Nature Preserve Mountain Trail
The Arbor Hills Trail is the perfect adventure for those looking to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Spanning just over two miles, it features an easy flow and offers something for all riders with minor elevation changes, steep climbs, and twists and turns throughout.
Colleyville Nature Center Trail
The Colleyville Nature Center Trail is flat and takes riders through a riparian forest and past ponds that are home to an array of bird species including mallards and green herons. It encompasses 1.5 miles and takes approximately thirty minutes to complete.
Waxahachie Creek Hike and Bike Trail
Cyclists along the Waxahachie Creek Trail find that it is well maintained and spans six miles from Lion's Park to Getzendaner Park. For most of the way, it runs along the creek and also passes the Rogers Street Bridge and Old City Cemetery.
Tribute Shoreline Nature Trail
Considered one of the more unique trails in the Metroplex, Tribute Shoreline offers a tranquil setting with a national park-like feel. There is interpretive signage along the way, and the tip of the peninsula provides picturesque lake views.
Sister Grove Park Trail
The Sister Grove Park Trail stretches six miles, and often gets noisy during duck season. It is suitable for beginners, though there are a few rough and bumpy sections that make it hard to get fast, clean lines in certain parts.
These are just some of the mountain bike trails that residents of Mosaic Dallas can explore. If you would like to call our community home, please contact us to schedule a tour where you can see firsthand all we have to offer.
