Our residents at Mosaic Dallas have many nearby entertainment options. One of those places is the Dallas World Aquarium.
Located down the street from Mosaic Dallas, the Dallas World Aquarium has been open since 1997. The aquarium has many aquatic animals, such as sharks, rays, manatees, turtles, and fish. However, it is more than just an aquarium, and has a wide variety of other animals. Visitors can see all sorts of birds and mammals such as flamingos, parrots, sloths, and monkeys.
The Dallas World Aquarium has several large exhibits based on different locations throughout the world, including Central America, Africa, and the Pacific Ocean. Highlights include a 400,000 gallon tank that visitors can walk through and observe sharks, rays, and turtles from Central America. Visitors also can explore other exhibits that take them through rainforests and jungles.
The amazing attraction also holds a variety of events throughout the day. Visitors can observe the staff feeding many of their animals, including otters, sharks, and penguins. The aquarium also has staff members hold daily talks about different animals and ecosystems.
If you are hungry, stop by one of the Dallas World Aquarium's cafes and restaurants. These are located right next to several of the animal exhibits, so enjoy lunch while watching turtles and stingrays swimming several feet away.
The Dallas World Aquarium is just one of the many places a short distance away from our community. Interested in becoming a resident? Please contact us for more information.
