'Tis the season! Dallas is draped in lights. Decorations, displays, and greenery are everywhere we look. But if you want to make the most of the holidays, check out one of these unique sparkling seasonal events in and around the city.
Located at Globe Life Park next to the Texas Rangers stadium in Arlington, Enchant is a magical experience. Featuring the world's largest light maze, visitors can truly get lost in the dazzling display. Enjoy ice skating, holiday shopping, and take a selfie in front of the largest Christmas tree in North Texas. Enchant is open on select days between November 24th and the 31st. For exact dates and times, visit the event page.
Lights, Chocolate and Sip Tours
Dallas by Chocolate hosts decadent food tours throughout the year. And their holiday tours are no exception. Participants will stop off at premiere dessert restaurants around the city and enjoy hot cocoa while they ride comfortably past the best light displays in the area. There are even a few expanded evenings featuring dinner and bar drinks as well as dessert. Different nights feature different neighborhoods.
Holidays at the Heard
The Heard Wildlife Sanctuary in nearby McKinney is a natural treasure. With lovely trails and an affiliated science museum, the Heard is worth a visit in all seasons. But on the evenings of December 15th and 16th, a walk in the park will be more charming than ever. With beautiful decorations that compliment rather than overpower the landscape, this is likely one of the loveliest winter displays in the region. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic basket or buy a cup of hot cocoa onsite and enjoy a leisurely evening amongst the lights. Get tickets for Holidays at the Heard here.
