CAF High Sky Wing AIRSHO
AIRSHO is an annual event held at the Midland International Air & Space Port just between Odessa and Midland. This year will be the 28th annual event from 8:30 am to 5 pm on September 15th and 16th. Tickets are required and can be purchased online or at the gate. Come out and witness many unique and antique aircrafts as well as civilian aerobatics and pyrotechnics.
Diez y Seis de Septiembre Parade
On September 16th, Lamesa Road and Florida Street will be closed for the Diez y Seis de Septiembre Parade (16th of September Parade) hosted by the Hispanic Cultural Center of Midland. Local businesses will prepare various floats and there will be many performances by the Mariachi band "Nueva Generacion" as well as Ballet Folklorico and Flamenco groups.
St. Ann's Fair
St. Ann's School will be hosting its annual fair from Thursday, September 27th to Sunday the 30th. Armbands can be purchased for $25 and include access to carnival rides. There will also be nearly 70 booths featuring food, games, bingo, face painting, and the Odds and Ends Garage Sale.
Birthday Bash at the Bloomtown Saloon
This event will be held at the Petroleum Museum on September 28th from 5 pm to 9 pm. Tickets are required and will include access to food by the Ranchland Hills Country Club, casino games, music, wine, beer, and a raffle. Contact organizers for more information and ticket prices.
