Cinema Under the Stars: 80's Classics (August 18)
NewsWest 9 presents this 80's classic cinema marathon under the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center stars inside the theatre. Beloved films such as ET (1982), The Karate Kid (1984), and Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) will star as the featured presentations and are sure to stir up fond memories of another era. Doors open at 11 am with the first movie (ET) starting at noon. Food trucks will also be on-site, providing much-needed refueling for a day of movie-watching. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for sale.

Lyle Lovett and His Large Band (August 23rd)
One of the most iconic performers in music history, Lyle Lovett and His Large Band will be coming to Midland this summer! The legendary singer, composer, and actor is bringing his unique blend of country, swing, folk, gospel and blues to the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center. Doors open at 7 pm with the event starting at 8 pm. Tickets are sure to sell out for this popular event, so be sure to buy now!
Resurrection Tour 2018: Puddle of Mudd and Saliva (August 25)
Jam out at the Resurrection Tour when it rolls through Midland's Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center. Post-grunge bands Puddle of Mudd and Saliva are headlining with special guests SOil, Tantric and Shallow Side. Doors open at 5:30 pm with the artists taking to the stage at 6:30 pm.
KANSAS (August 26)
Classic rock fans, this one is for you! KANSAS will perform a set of radio classics, classic B-sides, and even some new songs off their most recent studio album, The Prelude Implicit. Hardcore fans should get there early when the doors open at 6:30 pm to maybe see the musicians beforehand. The event starts at 7:30 pm and is sure to bring a night full of excitement!
The Greatest Love of All: The Whitney Houston Show (August 30)
This cover performance is already a mega hit in Australia and is finally headed stateside, including a stop at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center. Vocalist Belinda Davis stars as the legendary diva in a show sure to delight Whitney's Lone Star fans. Doors open at 7 pm with the event beginning at 8 pm.
