Savannah is home to dozens of restaurants including those which offer live music as diners enjoy their delicious meals.
Those not to be missed include:
Nestled along the riverfront, the Bayou Cafe is a landmark live music restaurant offering classic rock and the blues seven nights a week. It has welcomed guests for more than twenty years and comes complete with murals, dark wood, and dim lighting. In the kitchen, the chefs make the Cajun and Southern cuisine from scratch and boast that their hot sauce provides flavor in the front and a kick in the back. Meals include corn crab chowder, jambalaya, and low country boil (a coastal Savannah favorite).
Molly MacPherson’s is "Where its More Fun to Eat in a Pub, Than to Drink in a Restaurant." It serves both Scottish and American fare and features the largest single malt collection on the East Coast. The owner named the pub after her great-grandmother who left Scotland for Nova Scotia in the late 1890s after her husband's tragic passing. She opened a pub to support her young daughter, and owning a restaurant has been a family tradition ever since. Molly MacPherson's offers a lively atmosphere, and guests can listen to live music Thursday through Saturday. Meals include Scottish meatloaf, corned beef potatoes, and baked haddock.
Jazz'd Tapas Bar
When Brian and Julie Curry decided to open a place where guests could discover delicious food, craft cocktails, and live entertainment, Jazz'd Tapas Bar was born. It's known for offering an exceptional dining adventure, and its industrial-chic lounge offers a speakeasy vibe. The restaurant features live music six nights a week, and each night brings a different experience. The menu includes Guinness fish & chips, honey bourbon pork tenderloin, and five onion soup, all of which can be enjoyed with cocktails such as Dark & Stormy.
