Momentum Pilates Studio
At Momentum, the mission is to inspire students to get moving. The instructors challenge everyone in innovative ways, and all skill levels are welcome. Owner Carol Daly-Wilder began teaching more than 16 years ago after working as a massage therapist. She earned her instructor's certification from Body Precision in Pennsylvania and has attended numerous workshops. Classes include tower and mat, and private, duet, and semi-private instruction is available.
At The Hub, students enjoy hot yoga classes where they learn 26 new poses that help stretch the body. The studio offers a casual atmosphere, and everyone can expect to sweat profusely. The instructors are both knowledgeable and friendly, and they teach various styles such as Hatha and power. The Hub also features an on-site juice bar offering smoothies and delicious vegan meals.
Found in the Starland District, Starland is a casual STOTT Pilates studio that provides both private and duet sessions. Owner Kate grew up in Australia and later worked as a clinical social worker. She enjoyed taking Pilates classes in the evenings and decided to open her own studio after relocating to Savannah. Kate doesn't believe there is a one size fits all approach, and she provides her students with skills they can take outside of the studio and into everyday life. STOTT Pilates exercises are designed to help restore the natural curves of the spine, and they're suitable for the many athletic abilities and body types.
