If you would like to shop at locally owned stores, those near Olympus Fenwick include:
The Salt Table
When Carol and Dave vacationed on an island off the coast of Florida, they enjoyed a dinner experience featuring salts from across the globe. They loved the concept and created a seasoning blend for their friends and family for Christmas. That's how The Salt Table was born, and the couple also produces an array of salts and oils. There are more than 200 flavors, and the recipes are top secret. Samples are available, and the selection includes black truffle sea salt, Southern Italian grinder blend, and Savannah Sizzle seasoning.
Nestled on nearby Tybee Island, Seaside Sisters is a beach-inspired gift shop founded out of the owners' love of coastal art, home decor, and gifts. The ladies enjoy chatting with customers, and the merchandise is frequently changing. Items may include antiques, American-made crafts, and funky furnishings. The shop is also known for hosting regular Mary Kay Andrews book signings. She is the best-selling author of Summer Rental and The Fixer Upper among others.
Savannah's Candy Kitchen
When Stan "The Candy Man" Strickland was growing up, he baked alongside his mother to learn how to make her delicious Southern delights. When Stan decided to share the treats with others, he opened Savannah's Candy Kitchen on historic River Street. To keep up with the demand, he soon had to expand, and today the 4,200 square foot space is filled with the best candies, cakes, and confections the South has to offer.
