Jere's is where shoppers find an incredible selection of 18th and 19th-century furniture. The store was established in 1976, and owner Jere Myers has buyers searching for pieces in places such as Holland, Belgium, and France. The knowledgeable staff is happy to answer questions, and the thirty thousand square foot showroom features armoires, bookcases, walnut bureaus, and more.
Alex Raskin Antiques
Alex Raskin Antiques is housed inside the Noble Hardee Mansion and is known as Savannah's most interesting shop. Completed in 1869, it's the last unrestored home in the city. Over the years, it has welcomed notable guests such as President Chester Arthur and is one of the few buildings to be designated "exceptional" by the Historic Savannah Foundation. Visitors to the antique store enter through the ground floor cellar, and as they explore, they find an array of items such as chests, clocks, and secretaries.
Southern Charm Antiques
At Southern Charm Antiques, guests have the chance to experience the elegance that one graced the Old South. It's nestled on Bull Street and was established by Gregory Richards more than twenty-five years ago. His antique collection was growing too large for his home, so he began selling some of the pieces at a monthly market. A few years later, he decided on a more permanent location, and that's how Southern Charm Antiques was born. It offers unparalleled service, and pieces include works of art, dinnerware, and silver plated inkwells.
