Double Lakes Trail
Spanning eight miles, the Double Lakes Trail is mainly flat with gentle climbs. It runs through the scenic Sam Houston National Forest and is best ridden counter-clockwise. Cyclists of all skill levels can enjoy the trail, and those who are more advanced, often find it makes for a fast adventure.
Cullen Park Hiking/Biking Trail
With over 9,200 acres of recreational potential, Cullen Park is one of the largest urban parks in the United States. The hiking and biking trail stretches 3.34 miles, and along the way, visitors see colorful wildflowers, wetlands, towering oak trees, and a historic cemetery. Most of the path is shaded, and many riders feel as though they have been transported to the country.
Spring Creek Greenway Trail
The Spring Creek Greenway Trail is a fun place to ride as it consists of a natural forest and sandy beaches. Much of the path is paved, and it runs from Spring to the city of Humble. As riders pedal along, they see the Bevil Jarrel Memorial Bridge, the Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center, and so much more.
Anthills Mountain Bike Trail
Running parallel to the Buffalo Bayou Trail, Anthills makes its way through a heavily wooded area. This singletrack trail features a few short climbs and downhills and offers challenges in the form of roots. Those who would like to enjoy some jumps should ride to Wilcrest where they will find a bowl on the other side.
