Okay, I changed my mind. I’m not doing the spaghetti for Christmas dinner. I mean, this is my first time showing off my shiny new kitchen at Alexan Auburn Lakes luxury apartments and I need to seriously wow my family.
This is my go-to meal for something that looks really fancy but is super simple to make, Paula Deen's Herb-Crusted Pork Tenderloin. This recipe only takes 10 minutes to prepare. That’s right, 10 minutes. Then you pop the meat in your stunning stainless steel oven and let it do the rest. The only tools you need are a roaster and a meat thermometer. Keep it handy so you don't overcook the pork, but this is a recipe that’s hard to mess up. I've made it twice over the last couple of months and it's come out perfect both times. It’s my boyfriend’s favorite meal.
I love to pair it with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus but there are so many different sides you can try. Here are a whole bunch of sides suggestions to go with any type of meat you serve. The squash and onions with brown sugar sounds delicious, or you could spice up the asparagus with truffle oil, parmesan and eggs.
My family is not going to believe how my cooking skills have improved since I moved to Alex Auburn Lakes but my beautiful kitchen inspires me to try new things. Some nights it’s still the old grilled cheese and tomato soup but even that looks a little fancier served here in my new apartment.
