Every year, Healing Park on Conwell in Casper transforms into Holiday Square, a bright and joyous winter wonderland. Don’t miss your chance to see it all come to life with Keep Casper Beautiful’s Holiday Square Lighting celebration. The festivities are set for Sunday, Nov. 21, from 5-7 PM, though organizers encourage visitors to show up at least 10 minutes in advance, as the lights sometimes fire up a little early.
1. To Ring in the Season
What better way to ring in the holiday season than the time-honored tradition of seeing the city’s serene Conwell Park light up in a medley of flashing hues? It’s a sight to behold, and it’ll be all the more special after the pandemic put this event on hold last season.
2. To Catch Santa & Mrs. Claus
How many chances do you get to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus? They’ll be dropping in on the lighting festivities at Holiday Square before heading back to the North Pole. This is your chance to see them up close!
3. Free Treats
Hot cocoa and cookies! Need we say more? Load up on these sweet treats for free while listening to carols and getting your fill of holiday cheer? Yes, please!.
4. To Run the Reindeer Relay
Get your steps in beforehand at the Reindeer Relay, a 5K that benefits cancer patients throughout Wyoming. Costumes are encouraged for this annual event, which kicks off at 2:30 PM with registration at the Conwell Building.
Can’t Make it on Nov. 21?
No worries! The park will be aglow with lights until New Year’s Day.
