Fall is here! And that means, with the holidays approaching, the calendar is starting to fill up with events in and around Casper. Here are four fun fall events you won’t want to miss.
Green Acres Corn Maze
Spend a day of wholesome fun at Green Acres Corn Maze. Test your skills in the maze – this year’s theme honors local health care workers and law enforcement – or try your hand at any of a number of other activities. Like what, you ask? Here are the highlights: petting farm, pumpkin cart rides, grain train, apple cannons, corn pit, hay bale maze, air pillow, and mining for gems and arrowheads.
Ghost Tours of the Fort
Intrigued by the paranormal? Well, you do live in Casper, so the odds are good. If chasing ghosts indeed sounds like your idea of a fun night, check out Ghost Tours of the Fort. A collaboration between Fort Caspar Museum and the Casper Area Paranormal Seekers, you’ll get an up-close look at how the seekers use their detecting equipment to search for evidence of paranormal activity. Tours are slated for Oct. 23, 24, and 30.
Trunk or Treat
Hot rods and Halloween – a match made in … somewhere. Head to Yellowstone Garage from noon to 3 PM on Oct. 31 to scope out hot rods decorated for the occasion and filled with treats for young trick-or-treaters. Get all the details here.
Half Town Half & 10K
Get a head start on working off all that Halloween candy with the Half Town Half and 10K. Dress up in your costume and run either a half-marathon or 10K. Rest assured that organizers are taking precautions in light of the pandemic, including staggered starts if the race draws more than 50 participants. Register online and get ready to run!
