After a year without concerts, the Ford Wyoming Center reopened its doors in April. Three months later, shows are in full swing and at full capacity at the venue formerly known as the Casper Events Center. Scoop up tickets to one of these performances this fall.
ZZ Top
When: Aug. 12
Ticket Prices: $45-$145
With the original lineup in place over five decades, ZZ Top sadly lost 72-year-old bassist Dusty Hill on July 27. The iconic blues-inspired group was one of the best-selling rock bands of the 1980s, making a name for themselves with hits like Gimme All Your Lovin and Tush. Hill and surviving members Billy Gibbons and Frank Beard were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and recorded 15 studio albums together.
“Our thoughts are with his family, longtime bandmates, friends, and fans. Any show updates will be shared via our website and social media channels,” Ford Wyoming Center posted on the event page.
Kip Moore
When: Sept. 12
Ticket Prices: $29.50-$49.50
Embarking on the How High Tour this summer, singer-songwriter Kip Moore recently put out his fourth album, Wild World. “Out there in the jungle, the simplicity makes me completely at peace,” Moore explained upon its release. “We didn’t have ‘things’ growing up. We were never a family that had possessions. But I had this amazing backbone of character from my mom and dad. … I hope this record provokes some honesty.”
Catch him with special guest Jordan Fletcher at Ford Wyoming Center next month.
Jeff Dunham
When: Sept. 29
Ticket Price: $52.50
Since 1980, Jeff Dunham and his crew of right-hand “men” have been touring comedy clubs, making comedy specials, and even selling out arenas. After a weird year off – during which he released Jeff Dunham’s Completely Unrehearsed Last-Minute Pandemic Holiday Special – the ventriloquist hits the road again this fall on his tour dubbed Seriously!?, featuring characters Peanut, Walter, José Jalapeño, Bubba J., and Achmed the Dead Terrorist.
Dunham stops in Casper in late September.
