4 CRAFT BEERS TO TRY IN CASPER

|

March 26 is Free Beer Friday at Granite 550. Just show a valid ID at the clubhouse and enjoy a brew on us! It promises to be a good time. And, if afterward you just can’t wait until the next Free Beer Friday, here are four craft brews to check out close to home in Casper, Wyoming.

Salt Creek Citra IPA, Gruner Brothers Brewing

True to its name, this IPA packs a citrusy punch. At 7.7%, it also packs a wallop in the ABV department. Gruner Brothers makes a great hangout, too. It boasts a spacious patio, great brews, and excellent views of Casper Mountain. And be sure to check out the brewery’s iconic late-1920s Chevy truck outside!

Easy Yolanda, Skull Tree Brewing

For good beer and good vibes, Skull Tree Brewing is where you want to be. The Easy Yolanda, a honey blonde ale featuring notes of hibiscus, pomegranate, and blueberry is a fantastic find if you can catch it while it’s on tap. Really, though, you’ll be just fine showing up and picking from the tap list. Skull Tree is always toying with different flavors, and you really can’t go wrong with its inventive lineup of brews.

Oil City Red Ale, Oil City Beer Company

Oil City is Casper’s newest brewery, and it’s already making its mark. This red ale gets high marks from patrons for its smooth flavor, making it worth a try on your next visit. The atmosphere is great at this popular spot, which just opened last year. They even have cornhole leagues if you like a side of competition with your beers.

Flash in the Pan IPA, Frontier Brewing Co.

This highly popular IPA from Frontier Brewing Co. boasts hints of grapefruit and citrus. Frontier is a fun scene if you haven’t been. Stay tuned to the Frontier Facebook page for all sorts of fun events – from live music and trivia to tastings of new brews.
