We're talking about Art at the Main, and it showcases the work of some of the best artists in Utah.

The selection features paintings in most mediums, and artists include:

JAMES WOODWARD 

As a self-taught artist, James Woodward takes an eclectic approach to create his subjects. Over the years, he has captured dozens of photographs during his extensive travels, which he uses as inspiration. James often stops on the side of an interstate to snap a picture and finds it impossible to go anywhere without looking for a landscape to paint. He has won Best in Show at the Utah State Fair, and two of his paintings hang in the Summit County Courthouse in Coleville. 

TERRECE BEESLEY 

Terrece Beesley also begins her creative process by photographing her subjects from multiple angles. Terrace paints everything from gumball machines to stunning landscapes. She mixes the colors directly on the paper and uses many brush strokes to give her work a unique rhythm and energy. Her watercolors have won numerous awards, and she's a proud member of the Utah Watercolor Society.

ANN GALT 

Ann Galt discovered watercolor painting after retiring as a physical therapist. She learned through classes and workshops and is always learning new techniques and approaches. Ann's favorite subject is nature, and she enjoys creating outdoors surrounded by Utah's picturesque beauty. 

The gallery is recognized as one of the 100 fun things to do in Salt Lake City. It's open Tuesday through Sunday, and the artists will help you find the perfect piece for your home.
