Bingham Creek Trail

Looking for something short but scenic? The paved, 2.5-mile Bingham Creek Trail near West Jordan serves up sweeping views of the Wasatch Mountains and is dog friendly. If you’re looking for a quick hike or a quick run, this is your spot.

Prospector Park Loop Trail

This loop trail spans just over a quarter-mile and circles South Jordan’s scenic Prospector Park. If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to up your cardio game, this trail’s a good one to put in your running spot rotation. 

Jordan Ridge Park Loop Trail

Here’s another awesome South Jordan city park to slide into your running or walking repertoire. This nearly half-mile loop circles the ever-popular Jordan Ridge Park, which is always abuzz with activity.

West Riverfront Park Loop Trail

Gorgeous West Riverfront Park is a great place to get your jog on. Its nearly half-mile trail loops around the amenity-packed park. Best of all, it links up with the Jordan River Trail … which brings us to No. 5 on the list.

Jordan River Trail

The 45-mile Jordan River Trail runs parallel to the river from Utah Lake in the south to the Great Salt Lake in the north. Whether you’re looking for a hike, run, or bike ride, this stunning stretch of trail running through South Jordan is definitely worth your time.
