In our opinion, every day’s a great day for a cup of coffee. That’s why, when International Coffee Day rolls around on Sept. 29 every year, we celebrate hard. We think you should, too. To help you properly honor coffee’s big day, here’s a list of five unique drinks you can find right here in South Jordan, Utah.
The Drink: Revolver
The Shop: Beans & Brews
It’s International Coffee Day. Go big or go home, am I right? The Revolver is a big, bold blend of Ghirardelli white cocoa, a shot of Italian syrup of your choosing, and espresso. A lot of espresso. Try six shots! Find it at Beans & Brews. With that much espresso in your system, you might not sleep again until National Coffee Day 2021.
The Drink: Horchata
The Shop: Pinned Coffee Co.
Pinned Coffee Co.’s caffeinated take on this centuries-old drink popularized by Latin American culture features a refreshing mix of coconut, vanilla and cinnamon. Give it a try. It’s sure to crack your sweet coffee drink rotation.
The Drink: Snickers
The Coffee Shop
“Love All … Serve All” is The Coffee Shop’s motto, and we’ve got to say, it’s hard not to love all the drinks on the menu. Forced to choose just one, we’ll go with the Snickers – a delightful medley of chocolate, caramel, English toffee, and peanut butter.
The Drink: Burnout
The Shop: Pinned Coffee Co.
Hi again, Pinned Coffee Co. This time, we’re recommending the Burnout, which packs a flavorful 1-2-3 punch of tiger’s blood, lemon, and Red Bull. We’re not sure this technically qualifies as a coffee drink (it does contain caffeine!), but it’s great if you need a pick-me-up to power through your day.
The Drink: Coffee Shake
The Shop: Biscotts Bakery & Cafe
If you’re craving something cold, caffeinated, and sweet, try a Coffee Shake at Biscotts. They come in three flavors – coffee, mocha, and coconut caramel. If you’re looking for something a little more traditional, Biscotts’ signature blend house coffee is pretty fantastic, too. Oh, and their pastries can’t be beat!
