4 FUN EVENTS TO CELEBRATE THE SEASON IN & AROUND SOUTH JORDAN

October has arrived. Celebrate the season with these four fun events close to home at Olympus at Daybreak.

Get Freaky Festival 2021

When: Oct. 29-30, 7 PM - 2 PM each night
Where: The Great Saltair, 12408 W Saltair Drive, Magna
REZZ and Dillon Francis headline this raucous two-day music festival at The Great Saltair concert hall in Magna.

SoJo Halloween Fun Run

When: Oct. 30, 10 AM
Where: Highland Park, 6050 W Lake Ave., South Jordan
Dress up, lace up those running shoes, and burn some calories before a Halloween candy-filled weekend at the SoJo Halloween Fun Run. This festive 5K race is part of the SoJo Race Series.

Day of the Dead Celebration

When: Oct. 30, 11 AM - 6 PM
Where: Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 W 3100 S, West Valley City
Celebrate Dia de los Muertos at this day-long event presented by West Valley Arts. The celebration includes traditional community altars, art exhibits, traditional dance and music, and a Catrina/Catrin dress-up contest.

Visit the Mabey’s Pumpkin Patch

When: Sept. 25-30, 10 AM - 7:30 PM
Where: Mabey Farms, 10090 S 1000 W, South Jordan
Fall just isn’t complete without a visit to the pumpkin patch. Mabey’s features more than 16 acres of pumpkins and fun. Don’t forget your camera. This picturesque farm provides the perfect backdrop for Insta-worthy shots.
